What are Private Chatrooms?
Private Chatrooms are areas within our site for private conversations. You can host your own Chatroom or you may be invited to join another Chatroom. If you are interested in creating your own Private Chatroom, go to "My Account," then click on "Private Chat Room" in the Account Options section.
As an additional security feature, a password will need to be created for your Private Chatroom. Invited members will need the password to join your room.
How do I gain access to a Private Chatroom?
You cannot gain access to a Private Chatroom unless you have been invited to do so. Upon receipt of an invitation, go to the host's profile page, and click on the link to the Private Chatroom.
How do I use Network?
You can view photos, profiles and connect to your friends through our social network community.
What are 'Smacks' and how do I use them?
Similar to an instant message, a Smack notifies members that you are interested in them. You will receive a notification in the upper left section of your homepage if someone has sent a Smack. Clicking on the number of "Smacks" will take you to your "Who's Viewing Me" page where you can view all of your Smacks. Smacks can be deleted by clicking on the "Delete" link next to the "Smack" count at the top of that page.
You can Smack other members through a variety of ways:
- Clicking on "Send a Smack" in their "Interact with" section when viewing their profile
- Clicking on "Send a Smack" next to their profile listing in the search or browse section
- Clicking on "Send a Smack" next to their entry in your email or online Smack report
How do I use the Instant Messenger?
You can message people who are currently logged into the site using IMC. To use the IMC, you can either click "Launch Instant Message Center" on your home page, or set it to automatically open when you login by going to your Personal Preferences page and selecting "Enable IMC".
To page a member whose user name you see in the IMC, type their user name in the appropriate box and click on "Page" and enter a message in the window that opens up for you. Click on "Send" to send your message to that member. If this member accepts your invitation, a private chat window will open.
You can ignore another member while using your Instant Message Center; you will need to click on the "Ignore" button.
Once you open the Instant Message Center again, the ignore feature will be disabled and the block will be removed allowing this member to be able to page you again.
How do I search for members?
Searching for members couldn’t be easier! You can search for a member either by preferences or user name. Searches can also be done based on a description of the type of person you are seeking. You can also search for someone who matches a physical description. If you would prefer to search this way, use the second form on the Search Page, which allows you to describe the kind of person you are looking for. You can search by almost any criteria. You can also use the Browse page to assist you in your search.
How do I send emails to members?
Standard members:
Standard members are only allowed to view a limited number of profiles and reply to ten emails sent by another member every 24 hours. For additional privileges, we suggest you upgrade to Premium status.
Some benefits of Premium status are:
1.View and email an unlimited number of members.
2.Move to the top of the search list and receive more responses.
3.Use the powerful search feature to find your exact match.
4.Activate your Smack Report and get full email notification of new matches.
If you would like extensive privileges and features, we recommend upgrading your membership status to Premium.
How do I receive email from other members?
You will see received mail in your free Message Center. To open your Message Center:
1.Log into your account.
2.Click "Home" on the top navigation bar.
3.Click on the "here" link in your Welcome Back box.
4.This will open your InBox and show you any messages that you have received. (CC/Copied messages can be found in your Sent Messages folder)
How can I locate members I am interested in?
There are several ways to locate members who interest you. One way is through your Smack Report. You can browse your Smack Report, your "Who's Viewing Me" page and the search and browse pages to name a few.
Browse allows you to find other members by location while searching allows you to seek someone more specific via location and/or body type. Premium members have the most powerful searches.
How are chatrooms used?
Chatrooms are for private conversations between one or more individuals. To use the chatrooms you need to click on "Chat" at the top of the page and pick a room to enter by clicking on the hyperlinked room title. Once in a room, you simply need to type the text you would like to send in the text box at the top of the page and click "Send". You can manually reload the page if needed by clicking on the "Reload" button.
Changes can be made to your Chatroom by clicking on the "Chat Options" link on the left side of the chat room.
You can add members to your "Ignore" list if you no longer prefer to see their posts. To do so, you will need to find the member in the chat room list, highlight the user name and then press the "Ignore" button. You can remove a member from your "Ignore" list under your chat options page by highlighting their name in your Ignore list and clicking "Remove from Ignore".
How do Voice Messages work?
Voice Messages are a more personal touch than an email. They can be used if you have located someone you would like to become more familiar with.
Recording a voice message is more of a personal touch than email. You can record a private note using the Voice Message feature. You must be a Premium member to send a Voice Message. There is a two-minute limit for each Voice Message. To record and send a Voice Message, go to the profile page of any AdultMatchClub.com member and click the "Send Voice Message" link under their photo. Once our voice recording software is completely loaded, a set-up box will ask if you want to allow AdultMatchClub.com to access your camera and microphone. Click "allow." Once you know what you want to say, click the "Record" button and start talking. When you're finished, click "Stop." Replay your message, via "Play"; to be sure it’s done to your liking. If you are satisfied, click "Send" to immediately send it to that member, or click "Redo" if you would prefer to start over.
Customer Service can assist you with any problems recording or sending a Voice Message. Just, send an email to our Customer Service department.
Why am I not able to access a chat room?
Chatrooms have a maximum number of participants. At times, you will not be able to access a chatroom if the room has reached the maximum capacity for Standard members. Premium members are not subject to room capacity restrictions. For this benefit, we suggest you Upgrade your account now to enter the chat room of your choice.
